Our Charity Efforts
Covid Relief
In April 2020, the Consulate General of India, Toronto, formed a forum called CGI Toronto Sahayog that included representatives from all the different Indian Origin Community Organizations with a mission to help Indian origin people (especially visitors and students) in crisis during the pandemic.
To contribute to the cause, ASCCA raised $2051 in total through the fundraiser. We partnered with:
My Indians in Canada Association (MICA) and sponsored a day worth of meal for about 400-500 people through their community kitchen called Sanjhi Rasoi
Trillium Health Partners Foundation to buy supplies for the hospital and frontline associates to help those who are helping others.
